Updates

We have had some challenges to overcome, but that happens every year. We are sponsored by the Asian Pacific Trade Group, and we are currently seeking other sponsors.

The event will run 3 days:

Friday evening meet and greet, followed by a film, Saturday, full day, Sunday we will provide a non-denominational service, followed by round tables in the afternoon and a closing banquet with entertainment.

The entire event is a fundraiser for the global grove project which provides housing and food.

Don Eads, the founder of the 21st Century China Symposium, is currently in International Cultural Studies at the East West Center. His son, Hoku, is attending college at 15. They have lived in China part of the year since 1999. They work with Tony Robbins as International Coordinator

Daniel Piccuta: US Embassy Beijing

Daniel Piccuta

Fifth Annual 21st Century China Symposium
July 17-19
Sponsored by
Asian Pacific Trade Group

I had the distinct privilege of spending a lot of time with Dan Piccuta our ambassador at the US Embassy in Beijing. This is another indicator of the new era we are in. This guy is super sharp, understands Mandarin well, and he is a bright spot for the future of US-China Relations.

We are working out schedules to have him speak, possibly at the Fifth Annual 21st Century China Symposium on July 17-19 at the East West Center. This is going to be a great event. We are talking with Andy Bumatai, a famous local comedian, about performing and we are actively looking for more sponsors.

The symposium will be live streamed and interactive, meaning where ever you are in the world as long as you are connected to the Internet, you can participate.
